After a decade of selling his innovative math resource books through a major national company, Carl Sherrill became disillusioned with the lack of vision shown by the corporate educational publishers.   He launched Morning River Publications in the spring of 2001 as a vehicle for the new Teaching Lynx Series.  This group of titles is dedicated to forging links between powerful math instruction and activities that engage the hearts and minds of children.
